Empowering Millennials Through Life's Challenges
Are you a millennial navigating the complexities of life transitions, relationship dilemmas, or personal challenges? I specialize in helping individuals like you find clarity, confidence, and balance.
As a psychotherapist with a deep understanding of the unique pressures faced by millennials, I provide a supportive and non-judgmental space where you can explore your feelings and experiences. My approach is tailored to address common issues such as:
-
Assertiveness: Learn to communicate your needs effectively and stand up for yourself in all areas of life.
-
Self-Criticism: Develop a kinder, more compassionate relationship with yourself and overcome negative self-talk.
-
Self-Sacrifice: Find healthy boundaries and prioritize your well-being without guilt.
What is Individual Psychotherapy?
My goal is to create a healing, empathetic environment during therapy sessions. I have never subscribed to the "therapist as blank slate" mindset. We are all human, and I want to bring that into the room. The therapeutic relationship is a collaborative one, filled with dialogue and working together to identify your goals. Therapeutic rapport is built over time, and I encourage my clients to vocalize their thoughts about the therapeutic relationship to ensure a good fit.
In addition to addressing current challenges, we will also explore how past childhood experiences influence your present-day life. By understanding these deep-rooted patterns, you can gain insight into behaviors and emotions that may be holding you back. Together, we will work to heal old wounds and transform them into sources of strength.
I also specialize in schema therapy, a powerful approach that identifies unmet needs from childhood and seeks to fulfill them in adulthood. Schema therapy focuses on both inner child work and fortifying the healthy adult part of ourselves through psychotherapy and experiential work. By addressing the unmet needs of your inner child and reinforcing the strengths of your healthy adult, schema therapy helps you recognize and break free from negative patterns developed early in life. This process enables you to meet your emotional needs in healthier ways and build a stronger, more resilient self.
Whether you're dealing with career changes, relationship stress, or personal growth challenges, I'm here to guide you towards a more fulfilling and empowered life.
